Аннотация
В статье представлен анализ известного индийского мифа о рассеченном теле Сати, ставшем основой как для ряда философских концепций, так и локальных культов, связанных идеей единства разделенного тела богини. На широком историко-культурном и этнографическом материале автор исследует категории телесности, представления о границах, идентичности, принадлежности, этике и эстетике тела, о социальном и ритуальном телах, об инструментальной функции человеческого тела как универсального измерителя, одновременно выступающего объектом и субъектом действий и познания.
